About this policy
This policy explains how Reckoner Technologies LLC ("Reckoner Technologies," "we," or "us") handles information when you use Vocab Arcade.

Information processed
Data stored on your device. App settings, game progress, saved results, custom vocabulary lists, downloaded pronunciation audio, and handwriting input are stored in app storage on your device. We do not receive this information. Your operating system may include it in a device backup according to your backup settings.
Content delivery and security data. When the app checks for or downloads vocabulary content, Google Firebase App Check and Cloudflare may process limited technical information. This can include an IP address, request time, requested content, app or browser information, and app or device integrity information. We use this information to deliver content and protect the service from abuse, not to measure gameplay.
Handwriting recognition. Google ML Kit processes handwriting strokes and recognition results on your device and does not send that input or those results to Google. ML Kit may download a language model and send Google limited app, device, performance, utilization, error, per-installation identifier, and configured language information for diagnostics, maintenance, improvement, and abuse prevention.
Communications. If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide.
How we use information
- Provide and maintain Vocab Arcade and deliver content updates.
- Protect the app and content service from fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and users.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
When information is disclosed
Google provides Firebase App Check and ML Kit. Cloudflare hosts, protects, and delivers downloadable content. Depending on your platform, App Check also relies on the platform's app-integrity service. These providers process information only to perform services for us, subject to their terms and privacy notices. We require service providers to protect personal information in a manner consistent with this policy and applicable law.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business. A successor would remain subject to this policy unless you are notified otherwise.
Retention and deletion
Reckoner Technologies does not maintain user accounts or store user-created app content on its servers. App settings, progress, results, custom vocabulary lists, and handwriting remain in app storage on your device. You can delete individual custom lists in the app or remove all locally stored app data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Device backups are controlled separately through your operating-system or platform-account settings.
Our Cloudflare service automatically deletes operational request logs within seven days. Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and meet applicable legal obligations. Google and Cloudflare retain information they process according to their policies linked below.
Children
Vocab Arcade is intended for people age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, email us at the address above so we can investigate and, when appropriate, delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These include encrypted HTTPS connections, app-integrity checks, restricted access to remotely hosted content, verification of downloaded files, and operating-system-managed app storage. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
International processing
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws may differ from those in your location, but the protections described in this policy continue to apply.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Vocab Arcade changes. We will publish the updated policy with a new effective date and provide any additional notice required by law.
